A very short story

Today I got up at 7am, woke my son, made him breakfast, packed his lunch and waved him off to school. At 8am I woke up, and realised that I had just dreamed it all.

  1. Ha ha ha. That brought a smile to my face. No doubt he got a real breakfast after you got out of bed

  2. That is almost funny, except I could totally see that happening. I hope you were able to get him to school later, or did he get an extra “snow day”?

    • No, he got to school. By the skin of his teeth. And snow! Don’t mention that word. If only we’d had some this year. Just constant rain and flooding. Never mind. Spring is almost here.

  4. I’m not sure if there is an Oxford comma missing between “lunch” and “and”. Maybe you didn’t want to drag the story out even more. 😦
