About elainecanham
I started blogging because I'm a writer, and I thought I ought to. Now I realise that I blog because I lwant to; even when I can't think of much to say. I do a lot of work for local businesses - get in touch if you like my style.
super funny! and when I get back from summer break I hope to check in on your blog a bit more. peace! ❤
thank you, have a nice summer!
Too late …
It is for my ideas – I can only remember one of them, and they were good (Well I thought they were at the time. Probably crap, really.)
why not?
It got swept away in a clear up, and is now probably being recycled into wallpaper or some such.
Manky is a word I did not hitherto know – and had to look it up – and it has the most venerable lineage: from Old French manque, from Latin mancus ‘maimed’. I think you SHOULD write your notes on the back of manky old envelopes. I certainly shall. Thanks for manking my day!
Funny that it comes from the word for lost in French, (which the envelope now most certainly is) when here it means dirty. Thanks for looking it up.
