Rubbish idea

Note to self: Do not write ideas for blog posts on back of manky old envelope.

About elainecanham

I started blogging because I'm a writer, and I thought I ought to. Now I realise that I blog because I lwant to; even when I can't think of much to say. I do a lot of work for local businesses - get in touch if you like my style.

    • It is for my ideas – I can only remember one of them, and they were good (Well I thought they were at the time. Probably crap, really.)

  3. Manky is a word I did not hitherto know – and had to look it up – and it has the most venerable lineage: from Old French manque, from Latin mancus ‘maimed’. I think you SHOULD write your notes on the back of manky old envelopes. I certainly shall. Thanks for manking my day!

    • Funny that it comes from the word for lost in French, (which the envelope now most certainly is) when here it means dirty. Thanks for looking it up.
